🙏🏻 Wat Phra That Doi Suthep Ratchaworawihan, a second-class royal temple, is a sacred object, a symbol of the city, and the spiritual center of Chiang Mai people. 🙏🏻

🙏🏻 The chedi at this temple is a Chiang Saen-style chedi with a tall base and tapering octagonal bell-shaped corners, covered in two layers of gold leaf. It was constructed in the Lanna style. The relics of the Lord Buddha are enshrined underground. 🙏🏻

🧚🏻‍♀️ There are two ways to reach the chedi:
1. Climb the seven-headed naga staircase, which has 306 steps.

2. Take the electric tram. The fare is 20 baht per person for Thais and 50 baht per person for foreigners.
