Ming Muang Temple

Wat Ming Muang, Chiang Rai Province
🙏This is an ancient temple that has been with Chiang Rai for a long time, since the beginning of Chiang Rai. This temple was built by Chao Nang Ta La Mae Sri, the consort of King Mengrai the Great, who was the daughter of the Burmese king of the city of Hanthawaddy. Therefore, this temple has a Burmese and Lanna architectural style.

🙏The Lai Kham wooden chapel was built in a combination of Tai Yai and Lanna art, and has a ceiling in Traibhumi and Pali styles in the shape of a swan. Inside, there is Luang Pho Phra Sri Ming Muang, the principal Buddha image of the temple, which is a stucco Buddha image covered with gold leaf in the Chiang Saen Singh style, with a lap width of 80 inches. The top of the top of the head is in the shape of a lotus bud, carved from glass stone, which is very beautiful.

🙏Elephant Moob Well, an ancient well with a roof in the shape of a canopy, decorated with a statue of a crouching elephant. It is a well that has provided benefits to people in the community since ancient times.
