Beautiful Temple in Chiang Rai: Wat Huay Pla Kang

During my trip to Chiang Rai, I had the chance to visit Wat Huay Pla Kang, a temple that many say is incredibly beautiful. Once I arrived, I immediately understood why it’s such a popular destination.

The first thing that caught my eye was the massive white Guan Yin statue, standing approximately 79 meters tall. It’s truly impressive! Inside the statue, there’s even an elevator that takes you up to enjoy the view from above.

Another highlight is the 9-story pagoda called "Phop Chok Tham Chedi." This structure is equally magnificent, with numerous Buddha statues inside. As you walk up each floor, you’ll find beautiful decorations and items to admire.

The white ordination hall feels like stepping into a fairytale world. The intricate stucco designs are stunning, and every corner is picture-perfect. It’s reminiscent of temples in Chinese dramas. If you’re visiting Chiang Rai, don’t miss the chance to pay your respects here. The atmosphere is serene, and you’ll leave feeling spiritually fulfilled, not to mention with plenty of gorgeous photos to take home.
