An immersive artistic journey👫😎💐

#thailandtrip
Visiting Baan Dam Museum in Chiang Rai, Thailand, was a profoundly unique and creative experience. This striking “Black House” complex, built by the visionary artist Thawan Duchanee over forty years, features over forty dark-wood buildings blending traditional Lanna and modern architecture . As I wandered through the serene gardens, each hut revealed something new: wooden carvings, animal skins, horns, bones, and bold sculptures exploring themes like life, death, and human desire . The centerpiece, known as the Cathedral, took seven years to build and houses a dramatic interior filled with art and eerie specimens . Baan Dam isn’t just a museum—it’s an immersive artistic journey. It challenged me, inspired me, and left me in awe of Northern Thailand’s creative spirit.
