📍Wat Klang Wiang is located in the heart of Chiang Rai City, on Uttarakit Road, Wiang Subdistrict, Mueang District, Chiang Rai Province, near the old Chiang Rai Provincial Hall.

📒 Inside Wat Klang Wiang are many interesting sights.

📸 Phra Chao Phet Mongkhon Muni, enshrined in the ordination hall, is the principal stucco Buddha image, lacquered and gilded, in the Mara-Vijaya posture. Originally a Tai Khun style artisan, it was later renovated into the Lanna style.

📸 The teakwood viharn, built in a beautiful Lanna architectural style.

📸 Phra That Chang Kham, a golden chedi enclosing the Phra Pancha Mahathat Chedi, is decorated with a caranan arch.
