Shanghai 1 Day itinerary

📍 Itinerary Overview
We only had one evening to spend in Shanghai, as we had to depart the next morning for our next destination. So we decided to see the most iconic place in all of Shanghai: The Bund. But how did we manage to avoid the crowds? Check out our sightseeing route!
🚩 Sightseeing Route
Get off or start off near Tiantong Road Station (line 10). From there, walk towards Huangpu River through Suzhou Creek and then cross Garden Bridge. Enjoy the nightscape of the Bund. Walk alongside the river until you reach the underwater passage (tunnel). Get a ticket 🎫 to cross to the area of Pudong. It's a bit pricey but it's the fastest way to get to the other side (you'll avoid traffic and crowds).
Once on the other side, get on a bike and enjoy a nice and tranquil ride along the river in Bingjiang Park. Get off near Shanghai Tower to appreciate the monumental height of 632 meters of this building (tallest building in China). Take a stroll and enjoy the modern area of Pudong before getting back to Lujiazui metro station. If time and energy, visit Flair Rooftop at the Ritz-Carlton in the Shanghai World Financial Center (SWFC) to enjoy stunning panoramic vistas of the night skyline.
