Legendary White Temple

Wat Rong Khun, Chiang Rai Province

Wat Rong Khun was designed and built by Professor Chalermchai Khositphiphat. The temple is white. The outer area is a pond. The temple itself is a beautiful sculpture. Inside, there are contemporary paintings. However, taking pictures is prohibited inside. Wat Rong Khun is very popular with Chinese and Thai tourists.
