Golden Triangle, Chiang Rai tourist attractions, viewpoints of 3 countries along the Mekong River

The Golden Triangle is located on Thapae Road, Wiang Subdistrict, Chiang Saen District, Chiang Rai Province. It is an area where 3 countries meet: Thailand (Chiang Rai Province), Lao People's Republic (Bokeo Province), and Myanmar (Tachilek, Shan State). It is a triangle where the Mekong River cuts through.

At the Golden Triangle, there is a small port that can ship goods to China and Laos. When looking from the Thai side to the northeast, you can clearly see the villages on the Lao side. As for Myanmar, it is on the west side, which looks more like an open area because there are no buildings nearby. #VisitChiangRai #VisitChiangSaen #GoldenTriangle
