Alishan

From Chiayi Railway Station, you can choose to take the Alishan Linsen Railway or the special bus. This time I chose the bus. It takes about 2 hours to reach the Alishan transfer station. It is easy to walk. The Alishan bus is very comfortable. After arriving, you can walk up the mountain for a few minutes. The mountain is cooler even in summer, so you have to prepare a coat in summer. One time I went up the mountain to see fireflies. I joined a local firefly group that time. It was really unforgettable. There were so many fireflies that it was shocking. It was not an exaggeration to see thousands of fireflies glowing in front of me. I hope to have the opportunity to see it again. Alishan is very large and there are trails. The trails are up and down. It is not surprising to see many hundred-year-old or even thousand-year-old trees in the Alishan Park. There are different scenery in different seasons. It was also the first time I tasted tree grapes on the mountain. It tasted sour and sweet. There are indeed many places to go in Alishan, and many people go to Alishan for tourism and hiking. Basically, the Alishan trail budget is about 3 hours to walk slowly. There are many flowers to appreciate along the way. Alishan is famous for Sisters Pond, Zhuoping Park, Magnolia Garden, Suspension Bridge, Giant Trees Plank Road, Cherry Blossoms and Sunrise. Many people come here to see them. There are also many specialty restaurants on the mountain.
