1๏ธโฃ Starting at Deoksugung Palace
โข Starting Point: Daehanmun Gate (Main Gate) of Deoksugung Palace
โข After touring Deoksugung Palace, exit through Daehanmun Gate.
โข Right in front of Daehanmun Gate is Seoul City Hall Square.
2๏ธโฃ Exploring Seoul City Hall Square
โข Upon exiting Daehanmun Gate, you will immediately see Seoul City Hall Square.
โข Depending on the season, the square features flower gardens, events, or even an ice rink, making it a popular relaxation spot for citizens.
โข The Seoul City Hall building, with its modern glass curve design, contrasts beautifully with the traditional aesthetics of Deoksugung Palace, creating a stunning view.
โข Take a moment to sit on a bench on the lawn and enjoy the square.
3๏ธโฃ From Seoul City Hall to Cheonggyecheon Stream
โข Itโs about a 10-minute walk from City Hall Square.
โข Walk past the square towards Sejong-daero (in the direction of Gwanghwamun).
โข At the intersection in front of the Press Center (Korea Press Center) building, turn right to find the entrance to Cheonggyecheon Stream.
๐ If using the subway
โช You can take **City Hall Station (Line 1, Line 2)** and travel one stop to Euljiro 1-ga Station (Line 2). Exit through Exit 2, which directly connects to the entrance of Cheonggyecheon Stream.
4๏ธโฃ Enjoying Cheonggyecheon Stream
โข At the entrance of Cheonggyecheon Stream, youโll find Cheonggye Plaza with the iconic โSpringโ sculpture in the center.
โข The area becomes even more beautiful at night with the lights turned on.
