Alishan, Xiding Xiangshan, Tea Forest Trail
Taiwan Route 18 drives up Alishan. There are tea plantations around Xiding and some viewing platforms. The blue sky and white clouds are super beautiful when there is no fog.
We originally wanted to go to the Eryanping Trail, but there were too many tourists and it was difficult to park, so we found someone online recommending this easy-level trail, so we went there to take a walk. The trail is very short, only 720km one way, and there are three viewing platforms. It was a pity that it was foggy when we started walking, but the weather was very comfortable and not too hot. When we finally reached the highest platform, the fog had not dissipated, so we didn’t see the beautiful scenery! And it started to rain as we went down the mountain! Fortunately, the rain was not heavy and I didn’t get soaked. There is also a free parking lot on the Chalinshan Trail, which is very convenient for parking!
