Alishan National Park: A Must-Visit Landmark for Nature Lovers

If you're a traveler who enjoys nature, Alishan National Park in Chiayi, Taiwan, is highly recommended. This park is quite expansive, offering a variety of attractions and activities.

Upon arrival, head to the information center where you can get a map of the park. You can take a photo of the map for reference, and the staff will also suggest must-visit spots within the park.

For exploring the park, you have several options:
- **Hiking:** You can hike up the mountain, but it requires a significant amount of time.
- **Bus:** The quickest option, with buses departing every 10-15 minutes.
- **Train:** There is a train station within the park, but train schedules vary, so make sure to check the timetable carefully.

If you're short on time, like us, a one-day trip from Taipei is possible. However, your time in the park will be limited. We opted for the bus to reach our desired spots, then leisurely walked through the park to enjoy the natural scenery. Eventually, we reached the train station and took the train back to the starting point. You can ask for detailed walking directions at the information center; the staff provides thorough explanations.

For a more relaxed experience, consider staying overnight to fully enjoy the park without rushing.
