When visiting Alishan, aside from the popular sunrise and sacred trees, the recreational area’s rich plant resources make it perfect for a leisurely and in-depth exploration. There’s no need to plan a tight schedule—arrive early, pick a sunny day, and take your time observing along the trails. You’ll discover that this is an excellent spot for appreciating flowers and foliage. Shrubs, ferns, various flowers, and herbs can be seen everywhere along the way, offering new surprises with every step.
Walking along the forest trails, the air is filled with the scent of trees. The well-planned paths are suitable for families, seniors, and weekend getaways to slow down and unwind. The trails meander through high-altitude forests, showcasing natural beauty up close.
