Locally it is called "Train Park".
The name "Central Park" may be more familiar to older residents. Before the Inage Coast was reclaimed, the shallow sea turned into a vast sandy beach at low tide.
It seems that it was used as a training airfield during the era of biplanes. For this reason, a monument commemorating the "birthplace of civil aviation" remains in this park.
The park has a wide open sky, so it's suitable for kite flying, but I don't see many of them these days.
