🏞️🚤 Songhua Lake

We arrived at Songhua Lake just as the light started to soften, casting gold across the water. The lake stretched wide and calm, framed by soft green hills that seemed to roll on forever. We rented a small boat and drifted out, the gentle hum of the motor the only sound cutting through the stillness. There was something timeless about it like everything slowed down, and we were allowed to just exist for a while 🌅🛶🌿

Along the shoreline, we found quiet picnic spots, little wooden piers, and families chatting over tea. Locals waved as we passed, their energy warm but never loud. We stayed until the sky turned dusky pink, the reflection on the lake turning every ripple into a soft shimmer. Songhua Lake didn’t try to impress, it just welcomed us with quiet beauty, and that was more than enough 🍵🌸💧
