Today, Dokbua Khao would like to recommend Wat Kanmatuyaram, located in the Yaowarat area, built in the late reign of King Rama IV.
Wat Kanmatuyaram means "the temple built by Mr. Kan's mother", where "Kan" comes from Mr. Kan Sakonwasi's name.
"Matu" means mother.
This temple was built by Mrs. Kleep Sakonwasi, the daughter of
Grandma Faeng, the owner of a brothel in the Sampeng area.
