A secret realm in northern Guizhou you absolutely can't miss! Chishui is famous for its Danxia landforms, cascading waterfalls, and swaying bamboo sea. This light hiking itinerary is totally easy and will fill your memory card with photos~

Day 1️⃣ First Impressions of Chishui
📍Chishui Waterfall (Ticket 90 RMB)
The second largest waterfall in Asia, shrouded in mist and incredibly stunning! It's recommended to arrive before 9 AM to avoid crowds and experience up close the spectacular "Milky Way falling from the sky."
🍲 Lunch: At a farmhouse restaurant inside the scenic area, try bamboo tube rice and Chishui river fish.
📍Sidonggou (Ticket 85 RMB)
Four waterfalls lined up, a light 1.5-hour hike covers them all. The most surprising is the Water Curtain Cave waterfall—remember to bring a change of clothes as you might get wet.

Day 2️⃣ Danxia Secret Realm
📍Foguangyan (Ticket 80 RMB)
The "red cliff" is breathtaking! Recommended to shoot after 3 PM when sunlight turns the rock face bright red. The circular plank road takes about 2 hours to complete.
📍Bing'an Ancient Town (Free)
Well-preserved Ming and Qing stilted buildings. The ancient dock at the town entrance is the best spot for sunset photos. Must-eats: black tofu pudding and cured pig's trotters hotpot.

Day 3️⃣ Deep Breath in the Bamboo Sea
📍Bamboo Sea National Forest Park (Ticket 60 RMB)
70,000 acres of bamboo sea like a green ocean! Recommended to take the cable car up the mountain (50 RMB/person) and walk down passing scenic spots like Guanhailou and Tianluo Digu.
🍜 Lunch: Try the full bamboo feast at the "Panda Restaurant" at the park entrance.

1⃣ There are shuttle buses between scenic spots; buying a Chishui travel package ticket is more cost-effective.
2⃣ May to October is the high water season, making the waterfalls most spectacular.
3⃣ Be sure to wear non-slip sports shoes! The Danxia terrain is slippery when wet.
4⃣ Accommodation is recommended in the city center for affordable prices and concentrated food options.
