Hello Kitty fans, gather around!

Inside New Chitose Airport, a pink sign poked through the sky-blue signs: HELLO KITTY HAPPY FLIGHT.
I was skeptical that such a place existed inside an airport, but the moment I opened the door, I was in a different world.

The interior was bathed in pink lighting, decorated with white clouds, and Kitty faces glowed on every wall. Even for a child, my smile instantly lifted.

Kitty dolls in flight suits stood everywhere, and the theme zones for each country continued. France, the United States, Japan… The concept was Kitty traveling, and the details were so cute, it was almost meticulous.

After passing through the crowd of photographers, I sat down in a small cafe corner.
Kitty chocolate was placed atop an eye-shaped ice cream cone, and the cup was engraved with a ribbon. I was worried it might be too sweet, but it was surprisingly clean.
The window overlooked the airport, briefly bringing me back to reality. "This is more of a theme park than a lounge," I thought.

Although I couldn't stay long because it was before departure, those few minutes felt strangely warm.
It was a place where the nerves of the pre-flight tension eased a little, and I found myself smiling for no reason.
The Hello Kitty Lounge felt more like a place to briefly brighten my heart before departure than a place to "rest."
