🌿Legend has it that there was a young woman named "Sam Muk" who was in love with a young man named "Saen" but was ostracized by her family. This caused the couple to decide to jump off a cliff and die together. The spirit of Sam Muk became the goddess who protects the people in the area.

🪁Paying homage with a "kite" at the Shrine of the Goddess of Khao Sam Muk is a very unique and distinctive tradition. Especially when someone comes to make a wish and their wish comes true, whether it's about love, work, or fortune, they often come back to "pay homage" with a kite, which is believed to be what the Goddess of Khao Sam Muk likes.
