Baolun Temple

Visit Baolun Temple in Ciqikou Ancient Town.
Located opposite the Guojielou in Ciqikou, Chongqing, Baolun Temple is backed by Baiyan Mountain and faces the Jialing River. Baolun Temple is an ancient temple dating back to the Western Wei Dynasty. There was originally a rock behind it called "Baiyan." As Emperor Jianwen once took refuge here, it is also known as "Longyin Temple."
The main buildings of Baolun Temple include the Mahavira Hall, the Hall of Heavenly Kings, the Hall of Medicine Buddha, the Guanyin Pavilion, and the Sutra Library. Each of these buildings is solemn and dignified, bathed in the light of the Buddha, and reflects the architectural style of Chongqing, the mountain city.
