It is located opposite the Ciqikou Overpass in the ancient town of Chongqing, with its back against Baiya Mountain and facing the Jialing River. Because Emperor Jianwen once took refuge here, it is also called "Longyin Temple". It is said that when Emperor Jianwen of the Ming Dynasty, Zhu Yunwen, was forced to abdicate by his fourth uncle, Prince of Yan Zhu Di (later Emperor Chengzu of the Ming Dynasty), he ended up in Ciqikou and lived in seclusion here. Therefore, this temple was also called Longyin Temple in the past. There was a large plaque with the words "Longyin Zen Temple" in front of the original temple gate, but unfortunately it has been destroyed. Because Emperor Jianwen once lived in seclusion here, Ciqikou was once called Longyin Town, and later it was renamed Baolun Temple. Very suitable for taking photos, sightseeing and vacation!
