What a surprise! Beibei is a hidden gem!

The back garden of Chongqing is a must-see! I'm talking about Beibei, Chongqing. With a forest coverage rate of 53.16%, this district is definitely worth a visit.

There are many fun places to visit in the district, but these four are my top recommendations.

No.1 Jinyun Mountain: It is a national key scenic spot and a national nature reserve. You can climb the mountain to enjoy the view, admire natural landscapes such as Dai Lake and Lion Peak, and watch the sunrise and sea of clouds at Lion Peak. You can also visit cultural relics such as Jinyun Temple, which was built in 423. In recent years, many college students have climbed Lion Peak at night to watch the sunrise.

No.2 Chongqing Natural History Museum: A national first-class museum, its basic exhibits are divided into seven sections, including "Mysteries of the Earth" and "Life Torrent". It is known for its collection of Mesozoic dinosaur fossils and vertebrate specimens from western China. You can take a bus to get there, and admission is free.

No.3 Jingangbei Ancient Village and Town: With a history of over 300 years, its architectural style combines traditional Bayu and Western elements. Stroll through the ancient village and feel the passage of time. The best part is that it's free!

No.4 North Hot Spring: A national 4A-level tourist attraction, it is known as the "Crown of the Five Springs of Bayu" for its high-quality water rich in radon. The Hot Spring Temple is also located in the scenic area.
