Visited Leheledu in Chongqing over the weekend - absolutely amazing! As the largest animal-themed park in Southwest China, it completely redefined my understanding of traditional zoos (I'll share the surprises later~)
🌟🌟🌟Must-try experiences:
1️⃣Animal World Sightseeing Area:
Don't forget to buy the sightseeing bus ticket! You'll get up close with lions and tigers roaming right outside your window - heart-pounding excitement
Family must-visit "Red Panda Paradise" for feeding interactions
"Giraffe Pavilion" is super photogenic - giraffes will stretch their necks to the 2nd floor to greet you
2️⃣Happy World Amusement Zone:
Rollercoaster lovers must try "10-Loop Coaster" - the longest in Southwest China
"Sky Flyer" offers panoramic views of the entire park (best at dusk)
Highly recommend "Giant Pendulum" and "Splash Mountain"
-
🍔Dining suggestions:
"Beast Restaurant" and "Giraffe Restaurant" inside the park
Better to bring snacks - park restaurants are pricey
Local Yongchuan specialty restaurants near exit (try Yongchuan spicy rabbit)
-
🚗Transport tips:
Most convenient by car (1.5hrs from downtown Chongqing)
High-speed rail to Yongchuan East Station + 20min taxi
Huge parking lot (¥20/day)
-
⚠️Pro tips:
Bring sunscreen! Limited shade in the park
Arrive at 9am opening for popular rides
Bring your own carrots for animals (park ones are expensive)
Wear comfortable shoes! Expect 20,000+ steps daily
