Welcome to Chongqing, the cyberpunk city

My chinese familiar once told me that Chongqing is the second most popular tourist destination in China after Beijing. And now I understand why. I was so impressed by this city! Endless skyscrapers, dramatic elevation changes, crisscrossing roads — how was this city even built? It’s a true marvel! I only spent two days here, but I would have gladly stayed longer.

• Harmay beauty store (very unique design)
• Chongqing Art Gallery
• Raffles City Observation Deck
• Hongyadong
Day 2:
• Huguang Guild Hall
• Yangtze River Cableway
• Liziba Station
• Chongqing Grand Theatre
• Jiangbeizui Riverside Park

🏠Hotel recommendation:
I stayed at Glenview ITC Plaza — an excellent 5-star hotel with panoramic city views and a great breakfast, all at a reasonable price.
