Three Gorges Museum 🏺📚

On a hot summer afternoon, stepping into the Three Gorges Museum felt like entering a time capsule cool, quiet, and full of stories carved into stone and silk. The massive dome welcomed us into exhibitions tracing Chongqing’s past, from ancient Ba-Shu culture to the dramatic engineering of the Three Gorges Dam. Scale models, bronze relics, and immersive screens brought river history to life, echoing the deep connection between people and water. 🏺🌄💧

Wandering through the halls, we paused at shadowy dioramas of submerged towns, watched old footage of the rising dam, and admired intricate calligraphy and folk artifacts.
