Citywalking Through Chongqing

#chinatravel Took a chill citywalk through Chongqing (yep, the mountain city in Chongqing Municipality), and let me tell you, this place is wild in the best way. The streets go up, down, twist, turn… half the time I wasn’t sure if I was in a city or a giant outdoor stairmaster. But honestly? Kinda loved it.

Every corner had something cool, old alleys with hanging laundry, street food stalls selling hotpot skewers, and locals just vibing like it’s no big deal. Ran into random elevators and escalators built into cliffs. It’s a whole scene.

Jiefangbei was buzzing, but the side streets were where the real magic was. I wandered into a quiet tea shop, found a hidden book café, and got lost in a maze of old tiled buildings. No real plan, just vibes.

Chongqing’s one of those cities that keeps surprising you. It’s gritty, full of life, and somehow super cozy. If you like walking and exploring, this city’s made for it.
