Hongya Cave (洪崖洞) is one of Chongqing’s most iconic attractions, combining traditional stilt-house architecture with a bustling hub of eateries, shops, and teahouses. From there, you can take in the full panorama of Hongya Cave glowing against the city skyline — stilted wooden structures cascading down the cliff, framed by modern skyscrapers in the background. It’s the postcard-perfect image of Chongqing and a must for any traveler.
