#March Good Places 2025
Address: 〒892-0853 1-1 Shiroyama-cho, Kagoshima-shi, Kagoshima Prefecture
When you take your kids to Kashima, you can’t miss visiting the different museums! It is better to go to a museum than to read thousands of books. The Kagoshima Prefectural Museum is a place to help children and adults understand the nature of Kagoshima, Kyushu. The first floor of the museum is mainly for entrance displays as well as project exhibitions introducing local flora and fauna. The 2nd floor introduces the rich nature of Kagoshima Prefecture across 600km. The 3rd floor introduces some industries developed using Kagoshima’s natural conditions, as well as a 3D theater and a learning intelligence classroom. In addition, the 4th floor of the annex has a fee-based astrology hall, an astronomy exhibition room and a dinosaur fossil exhibition room. However very cheap, adults 220, elementary and middle school students 110yen.
