Hong'en Temple

Getting off at the East Gate of Hong'en Temple is super convenient! Just a 2-3 minute walk up the stairs, and you'll reach a flat path—say goodbye to steep slopes! 👋

🍧 Food and Drinks: There are plenty of small stalls selling ice jelly and cold noodles near the entrance—so refreshing! If you prefer bringing your own water bottle, that's fine too. There are free drinking water stations at the main entrance and the small square, so no worries about staying hydrated even if you sweat.

🏯 Architectural Highlights: Hong'en Temple is already stunning during the day, but when the lights come on at night, it transforms into a must-visit photo spot! I visited on September 16th, and the lights turned on right at 8 PM. Note that in winter, the lights come on earlier, so keep an eye on the timing!

🤸 Entertainment: Climbing up the hill itself is a great workout, and there's fitness equipment in the small square for you to enjoy! At night, besides the lights, there's also a large-scale outdoor hide-and-seek game, which adds to the lively atmosphere.

📍 Address: Near the intersection of Hong'en Temple, Jiangbei District, Chongqing
⏰ Recommended visiting time: 7:30-9:00 PM for a safe and chill photo-taking experience!

A must-visit in September! See you at Hong'en Temple!
