FunGee Riverside View Hotel: Perfect Location for Chongqing Exploration

This Chongqing trip stayed at FunGee Joyful River View Hotel (Hongyadong Liberation Monument Pedestrian Street Branch), the biggest selling point is the location is super convenient - the hotel is right next to Hongyadong, to Liberation Monument, Kuixing Tower, Jialing River night view can be reached in a few minutes walk, no waste of travel time. For a group of friends who love to take pictures or come to Chongqing for the first time, really do not have to think, location and scenery double satisfaction.

The FunGee Hotel opens so high, the 21st and 22nd floors look out, Chongqing night view and Jialing River at a glance, at night back to the room looking at the whole city lights, super healing. Another tip: downstairs is the Kuixing Building, two buildings connected to a footbridge, you can walk to the first floor to the Liberation Monument, below is the famous Hongya Cave, the whole route is very magical, very Chongqing "magic city" feeling, do not miss!

In terms of rooms, the facilities are smart, voice control, free drinks, small refrigerators are all available, even popcorn, ice cream, good night porridge are provided free of charge, many small details are taken care of guests' feelings. Best of all, there’s free laundry and drying, especially for those who don’t have enough clothes for long trips. Breakfast is very characteristic, business hours are long until 1 pm, you don't have to rush early to find food, the signature Chongqing noodles are a must-try, the portion is plentiful and delicious.

As for hygiene and service, it was clean overall, the staff was welcoming enough, and the guests were quick to respond to whatever they needed. However, some guests reported a slight lack of soundproofing (especially rooms close to the hallway), remember to ask about room specifications before check-in to reduce the drop.

If you like quiet and want to see the night view, you can choose the room type near the river, suitable for couples, families or travelers who want to slowly enjoy the night atmosphere of Chongqing.

Itinerary tips:
The upper and lower floors of Kuixing are wrong, upstairs and downstairs can still walk to pick up the Liberation Monument, Hong Ya Cave, some floors you think it is the 22nd floor, in fact, the first floor is very interesting. Hongya Cave is crowded at night, so it is recommended to go out and take pictures after about 10pm to avoid the crowds.
Booking Tips: It is recommended to confirm the room type specifications and view options directly with the hotel, remember to book early during the peak season;
Chongqing travel note: the city has high and low ups and downs, the movement line has some "through the building and crossing the bridge", more use of navigation (especially Gaode map), can avoid taking the wrong road. Recommend Hongya Cave - Liberation Monument - Kuixing Tower line slow walk, the most beautiful scenery at night.
