National Day is approaching, and it's time to plan your trip to Chongqing! As someone who has visited Chongqing multiple times, I’d like to share some recommendations.

【Recommended Attractions in the City】
Liberation Monument: The iconic landmark of Chongqing. Today, the area around Liberation Monument is exceptionally bustling, with countless shopping malls and snack streets—you could spend days exploring and still not see it all.

Raffles City Chongqing: A newly established landmark situated at Chaotianmen, where the two rivers converge. The building resembles a fleet of sailing ships, and at the end of the horizontal skyscraper, there’s a sky bar perfect for a relaxed evening with a DJ, dancing, and an unparalleled俯瞰overview of Chongqing at night.

Liziba: You’ve probably seen trains entering tunnels, but have you ever seen a light rail train passing through a building? The sight of the train emerging from a sea of flowers and weaving through a residential building is truly breathtaking.

Hongya Cave: A real-life version of the world from Spirited Away. The most stunning view is from the Qiansimen Bridge.

【Recommended Food】
Hot Pot: There’s no shortage of popular hot pot spots like Zhu Guangyu, Ba Jiangjun, Pei Sister, Xing Hot Pot, and more. For a truly unique experience, visit Pipa Mountain, where an entire hillside is dedicated to hot pot. If you want to experience local flavor, seek out the "hidden gems" tucked away in residential buildings.

!! Don’t think Chongqing only has hot pot! The city is a food paradise with endless options like skewers, roast duck, crayfish, and barbecue.

Skewers: Check out Nuohuo 80 and Shufen Zhangzhongbao.
Crayfish: Highly recommend Lao Ganjia! So delicious you’ll be licking your fingers.
Chongqing’s nightlife is best experienced through its food and beer.

【Accommodation】
For both short and long stays, serviced apartments are a great option.

I highly recommend @Ascott Raffles City Chongqing. Located right above Raffles City at Chaotianmen, it’s just steps away from Line 1’s Chaotianmen Station, making it incredibly convenient. The rooms are designed to feel like home—spacious and comfortable, with no sense of confinement. You’ll have plenty of space for your belongings, and amenities like laundry and kitchen facilities are available. There’s also a swimming pool, yoga room, and gym, so you can stay active and relaxed without even leaving the building.

That’s all for my recommendations! If you have any other suggestions for Chongqing, feel free to share them!
