Accidentally stumbled into the green wilderness of Qingcheng Mountain! This homestay healed me

Who understands, family! Just a 1.5-hour drive from Chengdu, I discovered a "green wilderness"! The Su Xi Qing Shan Forest Homestay, highly recommended by a friend, completely fulfilled all my fantasies of a forest vacation~

As soon as I entered the mountain, I felt like I had "changed my lungs"! The homestay is tightly wrapped by vast forests, every breath filled with the fresh scent of grass and trees, with so many negative ions it felt like my lungs were getting a bath~ The wind was full of the rustling of leaves, even the cicadas' chirping was so gentle it was unbelievable, instantly saying goodbye to the city's heat and noise!

I have to praise these 12 guest rooms! Each one seems to have "grown" out of the forest—the floor-to-ceiling windows frame the entire green sea like a painting, with natural wood furniture and warm pendant lights, just standing anywhere gives you the fairy tale treehouse vibe! The room I stayed in even had a private bathtub; after a bath, wrapped in a towel by the window, watching sunlight filter through the leaves onto the bed—this is what summer should feel like~ Oh, and the Hermès toiletries really hit the detail lovers, even the scent feels so high-end, like it was custom-made!

No worries about activities! For those who want to relax, there’s a bamboo forest hot spring pool—soaking in the warm spring water surrounded by the rustling bamboo leaves, so comfortable I almost fell asleep; for photo lovers, rush to the cliff glass viewing platform, when the weather is good, clouds float right at your feet, 100% photo-worthy! Families with kids win big too: a huge lawn for running wild, a forest swing that swings higher than the trees, and a cute pet interaction area—my kid chased the little sheep for half an hour without stopping, and this tired mom finally got to collapse in a rocking chair with a cup of tea~

The food was an unexpected delight! The handmade breakfast buns had thin skin and big filling, biting into one released a burst of fresh juice; the wild mountain stir-fry dinner was all picked that day, the bamboo shoots were crisp, the mushrooms fragrant, I ate three bowls of rice! The homestay auntie even packed us some wild vegetable balls, saying they’re super tasty to cook with noodles at home~
