Hey everyone, I’ve found a hidden gem for family trips — Chongzuo, Guangxi🌿!
Planning a summer vacation with kids? Sanya and Xishuangbanna are too crowded and overwhelming😮‍💨. After thorough research, we chose Chongzuo. This underrated border town is truly a perfect spot for family fun! We stayed at Wild Homestay Collection, which felt like a Southeast Asian getaway with its lush tropical plants and mushroom-shaped rooms🍄—like stepping into a fairy tale!

✔Chongzuo has ❌no airport. ✈Fly directly to Nanning, then take a high-speed train to Chongzuo.
✔Book hotels and tickets in advance—they’re pricey and hard to get last minute.
✔Detian Waterfall is less impressive in winter (dry season). 💦Summer is grander, especially from 12–2 PM when upstream water is released—the view is breathtaking🌈!
✔Don’t miss the bamboo raft at Detian! You’ll reach the lake center facing Vietnam and feel the waterfall’s power up close～
✔Wear windproof jackets, hats, and sunscreen—it’s windy on the boat!
