Qiandao Lake is worth visiting every year

It takes 4~5 hours to drive from Shanghai. Although it's a bit tiring, the scenery along the way is worth it!

🗓Itinerary:
A 3-day and 2-night stay is quite suitable. Have a meal of Qiandao Lake fish head on the day of arrival. There's no need to be picky about which restaurant to choose, as there are many local restaurants near the scenic area, and any one of them will do. The price won't differ much, averaging about 100 to 120 RMB per person. On the second day, you can sign up for a day tour (I didn't join a group because I had been there once before), and I chose to drive around the peninsula. If you're not staying at the Qiandao Lake Intercontinental, I suggest driving to the hotel peninsula, where it's less crowded and quiet, and the lake view is absolutely stunning.

Consider visiting Meifeng Island in the central lake area at least once, where you can overlook the entire central lake area of Qiandao Lake.
The best time to visit the island is from April to June each year.
Qiandao Lake Intercontinental (if budget allows)
Qiandao Lake Sheraton (best value for money)
Qiandao Lake Greentown Resort Apartment (right next to Sheraton, perfect for those who are not particular about hotel star ratings, the rooms are quite spacious)
