Nami Island:Fall Vibes in Winter Sonata Land

#falltrip #namiisland #korea Nami Island, aka Namiseom aka Naminara Republic - different names by which Nami Island is known for ... but this beautiful, halfmoon shaped island found in the North Han River, roughly an hour north of Seoul, is famously known among kdrama lovers as the filming site of the now epic Winter Sonata.

Scattered around the island are traces of the famous kdrama: the bench where the leads had their first kiss, the life size statues of Joon-sang and Yoo-jin along the scenic Metasequoia Lane, and the well known poster of Winter Sonata.

Abask in the fall sunshine, Nami Island is gloriously filled with the vibrant colors of the autumn foliage. Each area displaying a splash of red, orange, brown and green complimenting the scenic mountains and river beyond.

Aside from viewing its majestic scenery, you can take part in a variety of activities that will surely liven up your day.

We wanted to try the zipwire but the waiting time was 1-2 hours. So if you want to try this adventure, better arrive early.

You can also ride bikes, take the tour bus, try educational programs or watch different shows and visit museums. And there are also a variety of water sports to choose from.

So if you're in Seoul, definitely visit Nami Island and be enchanted by its awesome beauty!
