Isshinji Temple⛩️ is a temple on the way from Sanjusangendo Temple to Kiyomizu Temple. Although it's just a passing through, it's an interesting temple, both in terms of history and concept.

Isshinji Temple is famous for its blend of traditional and modern architecture, particularly the "Nokotsudo," or "Ossuary," which houses the ashes of the deceased, which are melted down into a Buddha image. A ceremony is held every 10 years.

The temple is also the burial site of many famous figures and members of the public.
