
Yongjia County, a county under the jurisdiction of Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China, is located in southeastern Zhejiang Province, on the northern bank of the lower reaches of the Oujiang River. It borders Yueqing and Huangyan to the east, Qingtian and Jinyun to the west, Xianju to the north, and faces Wenzhou City across the river to the south. It is known as the "Hometown of Longevity in China" and the "Toy Capital of China."
The Nanxi River Scenic Area in the territory covers an area of 671 square kilometers. It has beautiful scenery and a unique ecological environment. It is famous for its "beautiful water, strange rocks, numerous waterfalls, ancient villages, and beautiful beaches and forests". It is the only national 4A-level scenic spot in the country that is famous for its pastoral scenery. It has been listed as a World Geopark and on the World Cultural and Natural Heritage Candidate List.
Yongjia has a subtropical monsoon climate with mild seasons and abundant rainfall.
Linkeng
The source of the Nanxi River is home to a mountain settlement steeped in history and rich heritage, boasting over 700 years of history. Zhao Qunli, known as "China's First Aerial Photographer," tragically died in the line of duty here, earning him widespread fame. Linkeng Ancient Village boasts the most well-preserved mountain dwellings along the Nanxi River. Each dwelling is over 100 years old, with the oldest wooden house exceeding 200 years old. Linkeng Village, with its ancient charm, beautiful waters, and picturesque mountains, is known as a hidden gem within the mountains.
Nanxi River
