The Dreams of Youth Blooming in Chuncheon’s Alley: Yuklim Hill Youth Mall

Yuklim Hill Youth Mall, a representative alley attraction in Chuncheon, is a space revitalized by the passion of young entrepreneurs, transforming the declining commercial district of the old downtown. Starting with the 'Makgeolli Village Specialization Project' in 2015, it was further developed into a youth mall in 2017, spanning five buildings and approximately 18 stores, connecting the old Jungang Market and Yuklim Theater.

By remodeling the aged buildings from the 60s and 70s, the once dull walls and dark exteriors were infused with color and light, embodying a youthful vibe. The area now hosts brunch cafes, workshops, Korean pancake houses, Western-style diners, dessert shops, and accessory stores, each adding unique charm to the alleys. Dubbed 'Chuncheon's Gyeongridan-gil,' it has garnered immense attention, attracting up to 2,000 visitors on weekends.
