🩷 Riverview from All Rooms

I booked this place after seeing photos of the Bukhan River view through the living room’s large windows. All rooms have a riverview, so no matter which room you’re assigned, you can enjoy the serene scenery.

Just sitting quietly and gazing at the outside view feels meditative and calming. The sight of raindrops on the Bukhan River in the morning and cute ducks on the water are unforgettable memories.

💜 Living Room & Bedroom at Chaewoon-Gan

Chaewoon-Gan is a cozy studio-style pool villa. The living room, bedroom, and kitchen are not separated. The living room has one king-size bed. Since I added 3 extra guests, they prepared 3 sets of bedding in advance.

There’s a wall-mounted TV in front of the bed. Though not very large, it’s perfect for watching OTT content and enjoying movies at night.

The living room is equipped with an air purifier, a system air conditioner, and a ceiling fan, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant environment.

🩷 Kitchen & Private BBQ Area

The room features a clean and bright white-toned interior, with tiled kitchen countertops adding a nice touch. I loved the stainless steel food waste bin and hygienic disposable sponges.

The large refrigerator can store plenty of food and drinks for a family of five. I plan to enjoy the wine gifted by the owner at check-in on the white table in the living room after the first BBQ party.

There’s an indoor BBQ area on one side of the kitchen. The door can be closed, so you don’t have to worry about the smell of meat lingering in the room. The area also has a system air conditioner, so you won’t have to endure the heat while eating.

Before the main BBQ party, I spent a relaxing time with fruits and beer at the BBQ area overlooking the Bukhan River—it felt like heaven.

The BBQ usage fee is ₩20,000. It’s an electric grill, not charcoal, which is a bit disappointing, but grilling meat is a must for a fun trip.

We filled the grill with beef, pork belly, sausages, mushrooms, and more. Half the joy of traveling is enjoying delicious food that lifts your spirits. :)

💜 Bathroom & Restroom

There’s a dry sink area and one combined bathroom/restroom. The separate sink outside makes bathroom usage more efficient. The sink’s LED lighting gives off a photo zone vibe and is perfect for makeup.

The wall-mounted hair dryer requires turning a dial to use. Towels for a family of five, neatly arranged tissues, and the overall organization reflect the owner’s meticulousness.

The bathroom and shower area are separated with gray tiles for a modern look and minimal water splashing. Amenities include honey chamomile shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, giving a hotel-like feel. Toothbrushes, toothpaste, and disposable shower towels are also provided, so you can come unprepared.

🩷 Private Swimming Pool

Behind the living room is a large indoor swimming pool suitable for adults. Since it was raining during my visit, I opted for the heated pool. The year-round heated pool allows swimming anytime.

The pool area is decorated with a resort vibe, making you feel like you’re on an overseas vacation. It features sunbeds, palm trees, and colorful tubes of various sizes, perfect for both adults and kids.

The indoor pool has doors that can be closed, and the humidity was a concern since the heated pool was on all day. However, with dehumidifiers in both the pool area and living room, along with the air conditioner, it was fine.

I’ve never used a pool this much before—swimming right after check-in, after meals, and even the next morning before check-out. The pool was truly delightful. There’s even a spin dryer inside the pool area, which is convenient.

🩷 Advantages of Chaewoon-Gan Pool Villa

Being a newly built pool villa, it’s exceptionally clean and comfortable. The spacious indoor heated pool allows swimming even the next day, and the riverview from the room is perfect for relaxing. The indoor BBQ option is also a major plus.

Additionally, there are nearby attractions like famous Dakgalbi restaurants, a rail bike path surrounded by cherry blossoms, and ATV spots, making the location ideal. :)
