
Xianghuoyan Waterfall, located in Kaiyang County, Guizhou Province, is a provincial-level scenic spot. The waterfall is approximately 15 meters high and 30 meters wide, with a continuous cascade, totaling over 60 meters. The waterfall has five tiers. Looking down, purple smoke rises and thunder rumbles in the ears; looking up, the Milky Way descends from the sky and a rainbow appears after the rain. The canyon consists of three open valleys and two hidden valleys, encompassing seven scenic areas: Guangming River, Ying River, Xianghuoyan Waterfall Group, and Xianghuoyan Rock. The Xianghuoyan Scenic Area covers a total area of 35 square kilometers, showcasing a unique blend of mountains, water, forests, cliffs, caves, and bridges.
Xianghuoyan Waterfall is accessible year-round, but the best times are spring and autumn. In spring, the surrounding vegetation gradually regenerates, and mountain flowers bloom, creating a captivating scene. In autumn, the maple leaves gradually turn red, creating a stunning backdrop against the waterfall. Summer, also a prime time for a visit, is also the peak season, when the waterfall boasts high water levels.

→Suspension Bridge
You can directly see the big waterfall. Navigate to Banbianshan, Qingba Village, Kaiyang. After seeing the Xianghuoyan Farmhouse sign, go straight, turn left, go down the cement ladder, go down the small road, go to the right when you see a fork, go down the stairs and see the first fork in the road, go to the left, go down the stairs on the left side of the suspension bridge to reach the viewing platform, where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the waterfall.

Recommended attractions include Monkey Valley Pond and Monkey Valley Waterfall. Navigate to Jieba, and when you see a blue sign at the location, follow the gravel road. There will be stone tablets along the way to guide you.
