It's cherry blossom season again! Every year at this time, Wuhan University becomes incredibly popular as people flock to admire the cherry blossoms. Here's a guide for you:
❤️Reservations:
General Public: Reservations are required through the official Wuhan University website or WeChat. Reservation slots for 3 days later open at 8pm every night. The last reservation time is 8pm on March 28.
The daily limit is 20,000 people on working days and 40,000 people on weekends. Each person can only make one successful reservation.
High School Students: March 16 is dedicated to high school students. Pre-registration is required, and those under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian.
Alumni: Reservations can be made through the alumni channel. After registration, enter the university with a valid ID.
📸Viewing Locations:
Main viewing areas include:
Cherry Blossom Avenue, Cherry Blossom Castle, Cherry Blossom Garden
Wuhan University's Luojiashan Campus: Arts and Science Departments, Kunpeng Square, Yifu Building, and near the Administration Building
Information Sciences Department: Xinghu Pavilion, and near the First Teaching Building of the Engineering Department.
🕰️Flowering Period and Opening Hours:
Peak Bloom: The best viewing period is around March 20 and lasts until the end of March.
Campus Entry Time:
Working days: 8:30am to 5:30pm
Weekends: 8am to 6pm.
⚠️Important Notes:
Traffic Control: Private vehicles are not allowed on campus. Public transportation is recommended.
Double Verification: Verify your identity at the designated entrance and again at the secondary verification point (e.g., Kunpeng Square).
