Pre-Visit Checklist and Efficient Visit Guide
Here's some essential information to help you make the most of your visit to the Chuncheon National Museum.
• Admission Fees and Closures: The Chuncheon National Museum is free. However, it is closed every Monday, January 1st, Lunar New Year's Day, and Chuseok, so be sure to check the museum's hours before your visit.
• Operating Hours: Generally, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (admission until 30 minutes before closing).
• Parking and Transportation: Ample parking is available, making it convenient for driving. For public transportation, take bus number 100 from Exit 3 of Namchuncheon Station on the Gyeongchun Line or take a taxi.
• Visiting Route: We recommend first viewing the immersive video in the central hall, then visiting the permanent exhibition halls on the first floor (Prehistory and Ancient History) and the permanent exhibition halls on the second floor (Medieval History), which are connected by a smooth flow of traffic. Afterwards, you can relax at the Children's Museum on the first floor or the museum cafe. • Tip: The museum cafeteria inside the museum has a large window with a view of the garden, making it a great place to take a break and enjoy coffee or a light pastry.
