Banziji, located in Digang Town on the Yangtze River, boasts a stunning cliff face and stunning scenery. A thousand-year-old ginkgo tree stands atop it. Huang Degong, a renowned Ming Dynasty general, died fighting against the Qing Dynasty there, and a pavilion was later erected there. There's also the Ming Dynasty Pagoda, with four gates and a plaque on one side reading " Dizhu Daguan . " It's quite spacious and imposing, and appears to be an antique.
The scenic area is located on a wide river with a calm and steady flow, and a winding shoreline that stretches as far as the eye can see. The cliffs are rugged, the vegetation is lush, and gulls fly across the river. The ecological environment is pristine, and since ancient times, there have been four major landscapes: " The Gate of Heaven is Broken , " " Stars in the Sky , " " Red Flowers Shining on the Water, " and " Smoke-Filled Towers Near the Shore ."
As the landing place of the first ship in the Yangtze River Crossing Campaign and the filming location of the movie "Crossing the River Reconnaissance", Banziji has been listed as a moral education base for primary and secondary school students and an important attraction for " Red Tourism " .
