European Architectural Influence in City Hall Singapore

#europeanarchitecture

The National Gallery Singapore is a great example of European architecture. It’s housed in two historic buildings: the old Supreme Court and City Hall. Both of these buildings have a lot of neoclassical style, which comes from Europe. When these buildings were turned into the National Gallery, they were carefully restored. They even added a modern glass-and-steel roof that connects the two buildings while keeping their historical charm.

Another example is St. Andrew’s Cathedral, which was built in the Gothic Revival style, this cathedral features pointed arches, ribbed vaults, and flying buttresses. It was completed in 1861 and remains a significant landmark.
