When you think of Arizona, vast natural landscapes come to mind!
Here are five must-visit spots in Arizona!
❶ Antelope Canyon
Located near Page, Arizona, this natural wonder was formed over millions of years by flash floods and wind eroding the sandstone. The walk from the entrance to the exit takes about an hour and a half, and you'll be in awe the entire time. It's recommended to visit through a pre-booked tour or reservation!
❷ Grand Canyon
A UNESCO World Heritage Site showcasing a magnificent landscape carved by years of erosion, marking Earth's history. This massive canyon stretches about 450 km in length and reaches a depth of 1.6 km. Its overwhelming scale and stunning geological layers attract visitors from all over the world. The scenery varies depending on the time of day and location, making it incredibly beautiful.
❸ Route 66
The road stretching from California to Arizona has been featured in movies and is definitely worth a visit.
❹ Seligman (Arizona)
The charming world of "Cars" makes for a great photo spot! Highly recommended 🚕
❺ Horseshoe Bend
Located near the town of Page, Arizona, this meander of the Colorado River is famous for its horseshoe-shaped curve. There's no entrance fee for Horseshoe Bend, but parking costs $10 per vehicle (approximately 1,500 yen) 🚕
❻ Monument Valley
Spanning from northern Arizona to southern Utah, this scenic area features towering red buttes in a reddish-brown desert. As it remains a sacred site for Native Americans, general access is restricted.
