Lisbon: Starting Your European Journey from the End of the Atlantic Crossing

After completing a 12-day transatlantic cruise, we finally arrived in Lisbon, the capital of Portugal 🛳️✨. From here, the European leg of our journey begins 🙌.

🌿 Day Trip to Sintra, a UNESCO World Heritage Town
Just an hour by train from Lisbon, Sintra is perfect for a day trip 🚃. This area, registered as a UNESCO World Heritage site, is surrounded by nature and offers a refreshing atmosphere 🌳.

Among its attractions, the "Quinta da Regaleira" is a must-see! The expansive grounds feature caves, towers, secret passages, and more, creating a world reminiscent of a dungeon from Dragon Quest ⚔️. Even adults will find themselves captivated!

🌍 Cabo da Roca: The Westernmost Point of Eurasia
Next, we took a bus to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of the Eurasian continent. The breathtaking view of the Atlantic Ocean from the cliff's edge is simply stunning 🌊. Standing there, I felt a surge of emotion, realizing that this is where my European journey truly begins.
