I visited Cape Roca, the westernmost point of Europe! Here, a stone cross engraved with a poem by Portuguese poet Camões stands :-)

Here, the land ends and the sea begins.

Through Camões's poem, I can sense Portugal's commitment to the New World and great exploration! What a feeling it was to face the Atlantic Ocean, where Portugal ushered in the Age of Navigation.👍👍
