Sunshine Vibes in the Barefoot Cafe

The Barefoot Cafe is a beautiful courtyard hidden in the tourist heart of Colombo. It’s got such a chilled out vibe: people chatting, enjoying lunch, coffee or cocktails, and a lovely mix of ages and nationalities. All the food was prepared to a very high standard and the staff, although busy, were unfailingly friendly and helpful. If you come, I definitely recommend the cream cheese and caramelised onion sandwich! I also enjoyed the Sri Lankan classic of Black Pork Curry with rice.
