Life Advice: Enjoy Sea Urchin Rice Before Leaving Jeju

As a huge fan of sea urchin, visiting the popular restaurant Unidam was a must during my trip to Jeju Island. This place isn’t just a social media hotspot; it’s also well-loved by locals. Their menu is quite simple, featuring rice bowls, seaweed soup, abalone rice, eel rice, grilled fish, and meat patties—just to name a few.

We ordered the sea urchin seaweed soup set, which included 100g of fresh sea urchin, side dishes, and rice. The sea urchin was incredibly fresh and delicious. Paired with freshly grated wasabi and seaweed, every bite felt like a leisurely stroll by the ocean.

Orders are placed via a tablet, with a Chinese language option available. They accept cash or credit cards. If you’re curious, it’s worth a try—not exceptionally amazing, but definitely not disappointing. Plus, the sea view in front of the restaurant is great for photos.

The restaurant has locations near Hamdeok Beach and Aewol. As a premium sea urchin and seaweed soup specialty restaurant, you can enjoy your meal while taking in the beach view through open glass windows and the terrace.
