Christmas Trip to Tivoli Gardens
Location: Opposite Copenhagen City Hall Square, across the street from the Hans Christian Andersen statue. Amusement park + Andersen's smiling gaze = fairy tale atmosphere 🆙.
Tickets: Adult admission ticket 155 DKK, about 20€. One-day pass (unlimited rides on all attractions) 439 DKK. If you only want to see the Christmas decorations, the admission ticket is just right.
Experience: Known as the world's second oldest existing theme park. The park is a mix of architectural styles from various countries, including a small Chinatown.
The amusement facilities have everything you would expect. The wooden roller coaster, which has a history of several hundred years, is very famous, but as someone who gets motion sickness easily, I didn’t dare to try it.
The Christmas decorations are impressively done, with countless 🎄, intricate yet not overwhelming, creating a full festive atmosphere.
Tips: The small ornaments in the park’s shops are really beautiful.
